The travel bug was still in my blood, and while I was back home in Greece for the holidays, I told my cousin, “Let’s travel to Egypt,” since it is fairly close. Egypt was another cultural shock for me, and honestly, I was not expecting that, but I matched the energy from the very first day. It made me feel that future trips in the Middle East could fit me just as much as the tropics. Egypt is a place full of history, an ancient land with kind people and unforgettable atmosphere. I had the chance to see one of the wonders of the world, the Giza Pyramids, and yes, they are HUGE. I definitely want to visit Egypt again, especially to explore the Red Sea side and hopefully do some scuba diving there.
