London was the third country I visited in Europe after the Netherlands and France, and I felt very lucky during that trip. The weather was sunny and pleasant, which is something many people say is rare for the United Kingdom. I saw iconic places like Big Ben and the famous red phone booths that give London its classic character. I also visited the museum where the Parthenon Marbles are displayed, and that gave me mixed feelings because it made me think of home, Greece. In my heart, I believe they should return to where they belong, but I still appreciated the chance to see them in person. That did not stop me from enjoying the rest of the city, including a visit to the famous Platform 9¾. If you are not a Harry Potter fan, you probably will not understand the excitement.
